Three Lick Pottery is a Harrodsburg, KY ceramics studio run by Hanna Baker, a self-taught potter who didn't discover clay until her early thirties — after six years in the Kentucky Air National Guard, raising three kids, and years of describing herself as "the most uncreative person alive." One thing changed that: four wheel-throwing lessons, followed by relentless self-directed practice.

Hanna's work is defined by contrast — light against dark, vibrant against subtle, organic against structured. She designs every piece to be both functional and beautiful, with particular attention to the weight and feel of mugs in the hand. A juried member of the Kentucky Arts Council's Kentucky Crafted Program, she makes everything herself, start to finish, in her one-woman studio.
