Shepherd’s Forge is a farm-based bladesmithing studio run by Kevin Parido in Clark County, Kentucky. Working from his forge on the same Central Kentucky farm where his family raises sheep, Kevin hand-forges knives built around three words he returns to again and again: simple, durable, and functional. Every knife that leaves his shop is made to work hard and last.

Kevin approaches bladesmithing as a craft of legacy — each knife is made to outlast its maker and carry something of the work and intention behind it forward. His farm-to-forge approach and deep ties to the Kentucky maker community place him in a long tradition of rural craftspeople who make things meant to be used.
