Rock Salt Vintage is the jewelry studio of Katelin Reeser, a self-taught metalsmith working from a mobile studio in the Red River Gorge area of Kentucky. Katelin launched the brand in 2011, the week after she graduated college with a fine arts degree in photography, and quickly discovered that her true calling was in working with her hands to create objects that could be held, worn, and passed down.

What began as an assemblage of found and vintage materials has evolved into an original metalsmithing practice grounded in sterling silver, brass, and turquoise. Drawing inspiration from architecture and simple natural forms, Katelin creates jewelry with a structural yet delicate quality — pieces that feel both timeless and modern. Every step of the process, from designing to soldering to polishing, happens in her studio.
