Moss and Whimsy is a handmade dried flower jewelry and botanical art studio run by Joy, a maker who grew up in the tropical islands of the Philippines and now lives among the rolling hills of Appalachia. The contrast between those two landscapes shapes everything she makes: the shop's name alone — moss from Kentucky, whimsy from somewhere further — reflects that dual inheritance.

Each piece is handcrafted from responsibly and locally sourced flowers and plants, with no two arrangements identical. Joy works with real botanical materials set in resin, typically finished with 18k gold-filled findings, and approaches each piece as a miniature natural portrait.
