Larson Wood Designs is a Lexington, Kentucky woodworking studio where David Larson handcrafts cutting boards, charcuterie boards, cheese slicers, blanket ladders, and plant hangers from premium domestic and exotic hardwoods. Drawing on the Appalachian and Bluegrass traditions of Kentucky craftsmanship, David builds each piece to honor the natural beauty of the wood — using no dyes, letting the genuine colors and grain of maple, walnut, cherry, padauk, and other species speak for themselves.

Signature pieces include striking chevron and end-grain boards finished with mineral oil and food-safe cutting board wax, built to last in daily kitchen use or as elegant serving pieces. David is a member of the Appalachian Creatives Collective through the Etsy NEST Uplift Makers Program, which supports makers rooted in the region’s craft heritage.
